Tanjung Bira, Bulukumba, South Sulawesi

It was my very first time visiting Tanjung Bira. Tanjung Bira is name of a beach that located in south tip of Sulawesi island. I heard many people say that Tanjung Bira has beautiful scenery, it has beautiful combination blue color of water, white and clean sands throughout the beach. When my friend asked me to join a trip he has planned, I agreed. I thanked him, a freidn who had invited me to join this friendly trip with other friends too. He is a humble-low profile-rich guy I have ever known.

We started the trip at around 5 in the afternoon. It tooks 5 hours approximately from Makassar to Tanjung Bira by car. I hardly remember what event we were celebrating on that moment or it was just like the other fun time we spent like we used to. All I can remember is all of us were enjoying every bit of the moment, ate the foods that Mat’s gf has served–she’s an expert fyi, laying down on the terrace while our eyes staring at the scattered stars and the waves crashing out the corals. It was so quiet and peaceful. What a (another) great vacation I have experienced with them I must say.

We stayed in Amatoa resort for couple of days aaand it was for free–I mean I didn’t waste every penny I have for the resort, for the food, for the scenery, their jokes that successfully made me laughing out loud, how they welcomed me and so on. so lucky I was.

The resort itself has a swimming pool with sea view. I suggest you to visit Tanjung Bira on weekdays, because you can own the beach like the photo I have taken down below.

On the next day, while the boys went for diving around Pulau Kambing, we–the girls were strolling around the beach and had little swimming in the edge of the beach, some boys accompanied us to snap the moment we had. It was a pleasant moment to be remembered. Once again, thank you, Mat!
